Attention to detail is exceptional and the whole place is immaculate!

Everything about Lilliput is amazing. This was the best romantic getaway. You have a beautiful view, you spend some quality time with your loved one, no tv, no wifi, just you and your hubby. You are basically switched off from everything that usually gets in the way. I will definitely make a booking again.

If you are looking to stay close to the hub of Clarens, Lilliput House is an excellent choice! as it is so close to restaurants, shops and the town square. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere which was great. Overall, a very well presented property, clean and filled with all sorts of pretty nick-nacks and thoughtful things like sherry on the table, fruit, juices, and yoghurt in the fridge. Our host was very gracious and met us at the property on arrival to show us around. The property has everything you need for a short stay for two. The negatives for us: The bed. My husband is quite tall and the standard double bed with head and footboard made sleeping quite a challenge. The lounge layout. Why have a wonderful fireplace and place the only seating facing the door? A shame, particularly because it is winter and it would have been nice to sit facing the fire in the evenings. There was no outside lighting, challenging if you come in late or want to sit outside and braai or whatever. These are just our opinions of course, but I think if you stay longer than a day or two as we did, these sorts of things can be problematic. Other than that though, we would highly recommend Lilliput house for a stay.

One of my favourite places to stay. Annmari's attention to detail is exceptional. Enjoy your glass of complimentary sherry on the balcony or in front of a roaring fire. An electric blanket to keep you extra toasty in bed and even hot water bottles if you need them! Honestly one of the best places to stay if you want a little romantic getaway! 5 stars all the way!!!!

Best stay for two you will find in Clarens.

Perfect little house for two. Clean, neat and very peaceful.

This was the dream honeymoon night destination! We are so glad we stayed an extra night as it gave us the chance to enjoy the special touches fully. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway in Clarens.

Venue has my HIGHEST recommendation. WOW !!!!! it truly is as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures - even more so !!!! The home owner / hostess welcomed us as if we were old friends - gave us a quick 15 minute tour of all the extras the home has to offer, and then she left us to enjoy the privacy of the home - it was spotlessly clean from the sheets to the lawn - as if the leaves knew where to fall so as to not dirty the lawn, safety is 100% the police station is literally 20 meters from the home - don't be put off - its dead quiet - I ask myself why does Clarens even need a police station - one of SA's most quaint little towns .... I can hardly wait to go back !

Absolutely loved our stay! The house is situated perfectly close to the main area of Clarens for touring but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet while seating outside in the warm sun looking at the breathtaking view of the mountains during the cold winter.

We had a gorgeous weekend at Lilliput House, the house is just stunning. There is so much attention to detail from the beautiful linens, lovely bathroom products, roasted coffee, chocolates and evening liquor, such a beautiful location, Perfect couple weekend away, walking distance to everything in town. We enjoyed eating out, hiking in Golden Gate National Park and having a glass of wine outside on the balcony. Just perfect!

Lilliput House has to be THE most romantic place for a couple to stay. The house is breathtakingly beautiful and the views are spectacular. The personal touches are thoughtful, very neat and clean, the quiet tranquil surroundings were much appreciated and we honestly couldn't fault a thing. The house is also within easy walking distance of all shops and restaurants as well as the nature walks. This has to be my new favourite place to stay in Clarens and I highly recommend Lilliput House. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful accommodation very close to shops and restaurants. Nice little touches such as welcome drinks, snacks and filter coffee. There is mountain views from the deck with outside blankets for the colder months. Will definitely recommend for a romantic break away.

What a wonderful place to spend for a couple of peacefull days in Clarins. We enjoyed listening to the churchbell. We will definately visit you in the near futrure.

Lovely place, good facilities.

What a lovely place to stay. Attention to detail and all the home comforts you could ask for make Lilliput House one of the best guesthouses we have ever been to. A glass of welcome sherry, yogurt & breakfast bars in the fridge, his & her bathrobes and chocolates on your bedside pedestal. The view from the balcony is magnificent and we spent both evenings there, under blankets, looking up at the mountain. We will definitely be staying here every time we go to Clarens.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lilliput very much. The detail is excellent and the location is breathtaking. Loved the view from the deck! Everything is very comfortable and neat and we loved the bath and robes and lovely towels. the air-con was a bit noisy, but got used to it quickly. It is a very romantic and private house with great facilities and a very warm feeling. Hostess is very professional and friendly and looked after us very well. We were there for our Honeymoon and we will definitely be back some day. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away :)

We enjoyed the stay in Liliput House very much. The first night was very cold inside the cottage, but we opened the windows and kept the heater running for the day and the 2nd night was great. The wood for the fireplace was a bit wet. We enjoyed the lovely bathrobes and slippers, they are luxurious. The bath with the view to the mountain was great. The little stoep on the 2nd floor was lekker, because we could sit and enjoy the birds and the view of the mountain. Overall we ad the best weekend ever!! Thank you
